Style Goals 9/11/14

Welcome to another style goals post! This week I am figuring out whether to dye my hair pink or yellow next, and sliding towards yellow, what's your opinion? (it's staying green for a while, but I need to be a step ahead, right?!)

I'm thinking for minimalist and simple for this week with bright hair - possibly all black (which I've been liking particularly this week) or denim and white. I also cut shorter sections into my hair at the front as a sort of hime cut, and I like it! I really do need some better straighteners though. Also I'm off to Hyper Japan this Saturday, which I'm super excited about, and be sure to look out for a blog post on that.

Which is your favourite of my style goals? What's been your fashion inspiration lately? Let me know :)

Tartan By Hand OOTD

So, I made this dress! It's not pefect, but hey, it's wearable! Happy Saturday by the way and I hope you're all having good weekends - I will be off to town and doing an essay on my favourite philosopher, Nietzsche (this was thursday's outfit, but I only just got round to posting it!) If you'd like a tutorial of how I made this dress, let me know, and I shall provide one. I've been feeling a little down recently, but blogging is fun, eh? So I shall be looking through my J-Fashion magazines for inspo (as well as pinterest, of course!).

Cardigan: Charity shop
Dress: handmade
Shoes: Vintage DMs via Depop

Have great weekends guys! Look forward to this weekend's outfits!

Jaeger Tuesday OOTD

Another quick outfit post! Here's today's outfit, I hope you like it!

This outfit was a total slap-things-together-and-hope-it-looks-good job, and I think it turned out quite well. It's freezing here (in Chichester) so I wore this lovely woolly jumper dress by Jaeger, and some tights with shorts and a t-shirt underneath. I added a denim gilet over it later on, but it's not pictured here. I spent the day in lectures and tomorrow I'm starting my youth work!! YAY!

Dress: Jaeger via charity shop
Tights: charity shop
Shoes: Converse
Cross necklace: Antique jewellery shop in Guernsey

BONUS
Here's a picture of the photographer, my lovely boyfriend, Alex.

Green Monday OOTD

So it's another monday, but green instead of blue! My hair is freshly dyed, I'm wearing a fabulous jumper and my Nikes - could I be happier? I think not. I got back to Chichester yesterday and saw my lovely boyfriend, Alex, who kindly took these photos for me (hopefully he'll be my photographer from now on). The charity shopping in Chi is actually really good, and I hope to go on Friday or Saturday, though I really should be saving my money for Hyper Japan, which I am super excited to be going to for the first time!! I'm not sure what I'm wearing for it yet, but probably my Baby, The Stars Shine Bright jumperskirt, I'll do an ootd.

This look was inspired by J-fashion, in particular Harajuku street style!

Hair bow: Accessorize
Shirt: Topshop (ages ago)
Jumper: Charity shop
Jeans: Darkside
Shoes: Nike

Thanks for reading, and perhaps I'll do another outfit post tomorrow! :) <3

This Week's Style Goals 31/10/14

Hi everyone and I hope you enjoy my blog - I have another but I wanted a fresh start so I made a new one for my uni adventures and so you can see my fashion inspiration. I thought I would do a few inspiration posts each week and one style post - let me know if you want more of one and less of another! My name is Louise and I'm a 19 year old Theology-and-English student at Chichester University, who likes to vary her style from scandi street inspired to full on Japanese lolita fashion, both of which you'll find here (probably more colourful and eclectic fash-inspo though, as I'm a poor student with no monies for Angelic Pretty dresses </3 )

These are this week's style goals:
I just think that tights and sandals look so awesome, and what could be more awesome than butterfly sandals!

Granny chic really inspires me and this lovely lady looks fabulous!

My hair is green at the moment but I really want to put some yellow highlights in.

This eyeshadow look is fab!

Such awesome make up and nails!
I love mori style, and this pastel pink mori girl looks awesome!
Every girl needs a bit of lace in their life.
A bit more simplistic...

I really love this look, I think I might create this kind of thing in the future.

I just thought I'd show you what inspires me so you can get to know me a little better, and an outfit post will be coming next week, or maybe even tomorrow! (I'm at home  right now, but I'm going back to Chichester on Sunday so I may do it there). Other fbloggers always seem to come out with lots of outfit posts, but never what inspired them. I'm the opposite!
